Academy · Applied AI, without empty promises

Understanding AI, hands on the line

Hands-on workshops so your team knows what artificial intelligence can do in your factory today, what it can't, and where to start. No formulas or buzzwords: with your packs, your data and real examples from the plant floor.

Why now

AI is in every conversation; few know what to expect from it

We see it in every plant: some expect AI to solve everything, others distrust it completely. Both cost money. Our workshops put the whole team on the same starting line, with the judgement to decide.

01 · Understand

What it is and what it isn't

Rules, machine learning, deep learning and generative AI, explained with examples from a packaging line. No maths.

02 · See

In real operation

Demonstrations with the tools we use in production: vision inspection, process statistics and assistants that read manuals.

03 · Decide

Where to start

Every workshop ends with a list of opportunities in your plant, ranked by what they cost and what they return.

Glossary in 1 minute

Six words worth getting clear

Tap each card: the word on the front, what it means in a factory on the back.

Test yourself in 30 seconds

Rule, deep learning or generative AI?

It's the first question we ask on every project. Choose the tool you would use for each case and compare it with what we would do.

1Checking that the best-before date is printed and readable

Rule. The text is always in the same place and has a fixed format: classic vision reads and checks it, fast and with no surprises.

2Detecting a seal with trapped product on a carton pack

Deep learning. Every defect is different and carton has folds and glare: a network trained on your good and bad packs tells them apart better than any rule.

3Finding, in 300 manuals, how to adjust a specific sealer

Generative AI. An assistant that has read your documentation answers with the exact paragraph and indicates the source manual and page.

4Raising an alert when the mean of a measurement drifts from normal

Rule, with statistics. Mean, spread and control limits: nothing more complex is needed to know the machine is drifting out of adjustment.

Workshops

A workshop for every part of the factory

They are tailored to your sector and your line. We prepare them with your own photos, data and documents, so what you see in the workshop can be used the next day.

Management

Deciding where to invest

Which AI projects pay back in a plant like yours, what the risks are and how to measure whether they work.

  • Real packaging cases
  • Cost, timeline and return of each type of project
  • Data, privacy and responsible use
Quality and production

Inspection and line data

How a camera sees, how it is trained on your packs and how to read the numbers that matter.

  • Classic vision versus deep learning
  • False rejects and defects that escape
  • Process statistics: bell curves, Cpk and alarms
Maintenance and engineering

From machine data to action

Predicting breakdowns, stoppages and micro-stops, and assistants that find the answer in the technical documentation.

  • What data to collect and how
  • Predictive maintenance, step by step
  • An assistant on top of your manuals
Office and team

AI in day-to-day work

Assistants for writing, summarising, searching and preparing reports, with clear rules on which data can be used and which can't.

  • Emails, reports and spreadsheets
  • How to phrase requests to get good results
  • What never to share

Seven courses at three levels, each with its full syllabus: fundamentals for the whole workforce and hands-on tracks for management, quality, production, maintenance and office.

How we work

Taught by the people who install it

TIVOX Academy is not your usual academy: behind it is the team that commissions machine vision, data and AI on food, beverage and pharma lines. That's why the workshops talk about what happens on the floor, not what's in the news.

  • At your plant or remotely, in small groups
  • With photos, data and documents from your own line
  • Demonstrations with the tools we use in production
  • Reference material and a responsible-use guide for your company
  • At the end, a prioritised list of opportunities in your plant

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions

Do you need to know how to code?

No. The workshops are designed for people who work on the floor or in the office. If your team includes technical profiles, we prepare a deeper part for them.

What data do you need from our company?

Whatever you want to share: some photos of good and bad packs, a production report or a few manuals. They are used only to prepare the workshop and treated confidentially.

Can it be done remotely?

Yes. The concepts and office tools work very well remotely; inspection and maintenance get more out of being on site, in front of the line.

And after the workshop?

Your team receives a ranked list of opportunities. If you want to put them into practice, we do it with you, starting with a free remote feasibility test.

Shall we talk about what your team needs?

Tell us who will attend and what concerns you about AI. We'll propose a workshop with examples from your own line.
